Gunner Garn, a rising sophomore at JSerra Catholic in San Juan Capistrano, has verbally committed to play Division I lacrosse at Michigan.

Garn, a tall, left-handed goalie, will graduate in 2015 and is the first of his age group in OC to sign with a major lacrosse program.

Gunner Garn, Goalie, JSerra Catholic High School (Calif.) has verbally committed to Michigan, the Wolverines’ first 2015 commitment. Garn earned a varsity letter this past season for the Lions. He plays for FCA SoCal club team, and over the past year, he attended Terrapin Classic, Adrenaline High Rollers, 3d Blue Chip, Jake Reed’s Nike Blue Chip, GAIT Cup, Wolverine War Camp, California Gold Invitational and San Diego Elite 100. He earned all-star honors at High Rollers, GAIT Cup and Wolverine War Camp. He also earned a varsity letter in football.
