Freshman Jack Renard (San Clemente) scored five goals, handed out an assist, recovered four groundballs, and caused a turnover in his collegiate debut with the United States Merchant Marine Academy. The Mariners defeated Coast Guard 16-13.

Villanova freshman Fernando Delgado (St. Margaret’s) started at close defense against Penn State. The unranked Wildcats upset No. 15 Penn State 19-9.

High Point sophomore Peyton Garrett (San Clemente) scored two goals in a 15-10 win over Robert Morris on Saturday.

Nate Marano (Foothill) had a goal and an assist for Denver in a 10-6 win over Dartmouth on Sunday, and a goal in an 18-7 win over Sacred Heart on Saturday. Ryan Harnisch (St. Margaret’s) was 1-3 on faceoffs in both games. Brett Greenlee (Corona del Mar) saw action at LSM in both games.

Michael Ortlieb (Corona del Mar) had 14 saves for Holy Cross in a 12-11 loss to Lehigh.

Michael Keasey (Corona del Mar) had two goals in a 12-11 loss to Lehigh.

Dakota Rohlin (Great Oak) scored a goal for Jacksonville in an 18-5 loss to Duke.

Chase Williams (St. Margaret’s) had an assist for Haverford in a 5-4 win over Randolph Macon.

Jared Ferrell (El Toro) had a goal and an assist for Carthage in a 10-3 win over Beloit.

Jordan Riggs (San Clemente) had a goal and an assist for Southwestern in a 17-10 win over Millsaps.
