Irvine HS Seeks Head Coach

Irvine High School is seeking to hire a varsity boys’ lacrosse head coach; this is a coaching-only position for the 2014/15 academic year but prospective high school teachers may apply for open teaching positions for the 2015/16 year.

Qualified candidates should have a strong understanding of the game with the ability to teach individual/positional skills and technique as well as a philosophy that the players can understand and execute. Responsibilities include assisting with the planning and running practices, and overseeing coaching assistants.

Irvine High School has a proud athletic and academic tradition in one of most well regarded school districts in the U.S. Be a part of building on our 7-year program in one of fastest growing lacrosse regions in the country. Our 2014/15 squad will include an experienced core and a 40+ player squad.

For the 2014/15 academic year a stipend will be paid for the spring season with opportunities for hourly wages for pre and post season work through team fund raising and booster support.

Irvine HS offers excellent facilities including an artificial turf stadium, grass practice fields, and supportive (and sane) parental support.
