Senior midfielder Lucas Anderson scored 5 goals and added 3 assists to lead San Clemente to an 18-7 league-opening victory against the visiting Chargers Tuesday night.

El Toro opened the scoring, but San Clemente responded to take a commanding 8-3 halftime lead.

The win lifts SC to 5-2 (1-0 in league) on the season; El Toro dropped to 4-2 (0-1).

Jake Craycraft had 2 goals and 2 assists to lead El Toro.
