Glen Miles is a member of the 2016 national Lacrosse Hall of Fame induction class. He played collegiate lacrosse at the US Naval Academy where he was an All-American and the midfielder of the year in 1986. Miles was a three sport athlete in high school excelling in football, basketball and lacrosse. Host Fred Opie (Opie and Miles were teammates on the 1990 US national team) interviews him about his parent’s (his father was a high school coach and his mother a guidance counselor) his decision to attend the Naval Academy as a two sport athlete (lacrosse and basketball), the admissions process, how he survived the Academy’s academic rigor, what he learned in the process, became an All-American, and a fighter pilot. Glen is coaching and mentoring young people in California through the auspices of Victory Lacrosse.
