It’s Hall Tucker Show Today. Host Fred Opie interview Baltimore native John Tucker, a member of the 2016 National Lacrosse Hall of Fame. John was an All-American Midfielder at John Hopkins University, played for Maryland lacrosse club, a two time member of the US national team, and a All-Star for the Philadelphia Wings professional box lacrosse team. John and Fred played together on the 1990 US national team. John has been a successful coach at the high school level and pro level. Fred says, “I would put John along with my Syracuse teammate Mark Burnham on a short list of Lacrosse players you want to have your back in when you found yourself in a situation in which you had to fight your way out.”
John is joined with his son Ryan who John has coached. Ryan earned All American honors as a midfielder at the University of Virginia. Ryan plays professionally in the MLL. The second half of our show is a interview with John’s wife and Ryan’s mom Janine who Is the head Women’s lacrosse coach at John Hopkins University.
