St. Margaret’s girls lacrosse coach Holly Reilly (second from left above) was selected by the Boston Storm in first-ever professional women’s lacrosse draft. Reilly, a graduate of Princeton, earned gold medals in the 2009 and 2013 Federation of International Lacrosse World Cups with the U.S. Women’s National Lacrosse Team earning. She captained the lacrosse and field hockey teams at Princeton. She earned 1st Team NCAA Lacrosse All-American honors in 2008 and 2009 and was awarded Princeton’s Scholar-Athlete Award granted to five female graduates for excellence in both academics and athletics. During her career at Princeton, she earned awards for Ivy League Rookie of the Year and Ivy League Player of the Year.

Dear Fans, Friends and Families of the BOSTON STORM!
As you know, the United Women’s Lacrosse League has been launched and the first-ever professional women’s team has landed in BOSTON! The BOSTON STORM is brewing and will hit the East Coast MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND! The season will run from Memorial Day weekend through the last weekend in July, and we need all the support we can get!
On April 13th, the first-ever UWLX DRAFT was held and the result for the Boston Storm was a group of 10 women who have an incredible amount of experience, talent, determination and dedication to our sport. We are thrilled to welcome these 10 women onto the Storm team for our inaugural season.

Our remaining 10 draftees will be selected both from the MAY 1st DRAFT CAMP being held at St. Joe’s University outside of Philadelphia and from our college draft to be held once the collegiate season is over! We can’t wait to see who else will join the STORM team as we look to build upon a strong core already selected. Keep your eyes out for news coming out of DRAFT CAMP 2016 next week!
