Corona del Mar assistant coaches Jeremy Sieverts and Tim Cassi have teamed up with STACK Velocity Sports Performance in Orange County to offer two lacrosse-specific training programs over the holiday break.
Cassi, the goalies coach at CdM, is running a four-session program specific to goalie training — focusing on agility, explosion, reaction and power — for high school boys and girls.
Sieverts, who also plays for the Denver Outlaws in the MLL, will focus on field-specific training, with six sessions designed to enhance speed, acceleration and change-of-direction.
In both camps, drills will be performed with lacrosse sticks in hand, and current college athletes will be participating in the sessions with the high school kids. Both camps run in the afternoon during the weeks of Dec. 22 and Dec. 29 at the STACK location in Costa Mesa. Cassi’s goalie program is $120 for the four sessions, and Sieverts’ field camp is $135 for the six sessions.
