Newport Harbor’s Olivia Gritzmacher (pictured right) was named the Sunset League’s Most Valuable Player and Scholar Athlete for the 2021 girls lacrosse season. Gritzmacher, scored 135 points while excelling in the classroom to help lead the Sailors’ to their second straight league title. According to MaxPreps, Gritzmacher was the top scorer in the state. The 2021 All Sunset League girls lacrosse teams are presented below.
