The results are in for the first fans’ poll. Foothill High School is the people’s choice by a margin not seen since the 1972 presidential election (google it and don’t blame me. I’m from Massachussetts). Foothill captured 34 of the 43 first place votes that were cast to displace St. Margaret’s from the perch.

St. Margaret’s and Corona del Mar each picked up three first place votes. However, the Tartans out-polled CdM for second place by a 23-6 margin to grab second place ahead of CdM’s third place. Servite received the remaining two first place votes. Santa Margarita, San Clemente, Trabuco Hills, Great Oak, Aliso Niguel, Newport Harbor, and Tesoro.

The Top 20 are listed below. Think the results could use some improvement? Then exercise your right to vote and always remember: There is a reason why they play the games.
