Foothill Girls Prevail Over Beckman

Foothill-Thumb.gifThe Foothill Girls (10-0) played Beckman (8-2) in a non-league game Friday night at Northrup Stadium (Tustin High School). Prior to the start of the game, there was a moment of silence for Ali Rische (former Beckman coach and Foothill Alumn). Foothill prevailed 18-3. Top scorers for Foothill were seniors Jordan James (4 goals and 2 assists), Mallery Kiefus (4 goals and 1 assist) and Claire Healy (commitment to St. Mary’s) (4 goals and 1 assist). Junior Julia Taylor (verbal commitment to Oregon) had 3 goals, 1 assist and a game high 5 ground balls. Sophomore Meridian Lee won 18 of 21 draw attempts. Sophomore Goalie Hannah Upshaw (verbal commitment to USC) had 7 saves on 10 shots on goal.
