Foothill defeated JSerra 14-4 on Tuesday night. The Knights opened up a 9-3 lead by halftime and shutdown the Lions in the second half to claim the victory.
As has been their hallmark this year, Foothill’s scoring load was well distributed. Led by Kevin Kodzis‘ (Holy Cross) three goals and two assists, nine different Knights scored. Nathan Skeen added three goals. Single goals were scored by Chris Reem, Ellis Geis, Josh Fox, who also had a career-high three assists, Evan Brown, and defensive midfielders Nathan Knight and Tony Delcrognale. Steven Oberly got the goals rolling in the first minute of the game with a spinning shot. He added a second goal just before halftime.
Longpole defender George Dalis forced three turnovers and had four groundballs and senior defender Jared Copeland added an assist.
For JSerra, 4-5, Hunter Neal had a pair of scores and Evan Jones and Emerson Roth also scored.
