The Cate School girls lacrosse teams went 12-2 last spring under interim coach Amy Venditta, rising as high as No. 5 in the coaches poll and eventually reaching the second round of the US Lacrosse Southern Section playoffs.

History: This spring season marks the 25th year of the girls lacrosse program at Cate School.
Giving Back: Brie Walker ’18 (Greenwood Village, Colo.) and Maddie Erickson ’19 (Napa, Calif.) will teach lacrosse to youngsters at a local elementary school, as well as at Girls Inc. in Carpinteria this fall.
Mack is Back: Longtime coach Renee Mack returns to the helm after a one-year sabbatical in which she and her family worked at the Island School in the Bahamas.
