The Fire Lacrosse high school girls team went 5-0 over the weekend, outscoring its opponents 62-24, to win the Verge HS division at the Adrenaline America’s Finest Rivalry tournament in Del Mar.

After opening with a 12-10 win over Lacrosse Force HS, Fire Lacrosse — part of the Santa Monica Dragons club program — cruised through the rest of pool play, beating OC United Blue 10-3, Rebels Gray 15-1 and SB Wave HS 9-5 to finish pool play 4-0.

Fire Lacrosse then handled 858 Lacrosse out of San Diego 16-5 in the division championship game.
