Santa Margarita Catholic High School junior Erin DiBernardo has verbally committed to play Division 1 women’s lacrosse at Arizona State University. DiBernardo had 75 goals, 11 assists, 38 groundballs, and 17 takeaways in 18 games this season. She was also named Player of the Game six times. Santa Margarita coach Bob Mezeul told MaxLaxOC.com “We are all very excited that Erin has accepted an offer to play D1 at ASU. Erin is a exceptional lacrosse player and an outstanding student athlete. She will no doubt bring enthusiasm and serioius game to the newly developing program at ASU.”
