Servite senior midfielder Donovan Harper has committed to play NCAA Division 3 at Concordia University-Wisconsin. Harper was focused on attending a small college and also considered Elmhurst College, Beloit College, Chatham University and Whittier College.
“I chose to go to Concordia Wisconsin because I loved the location of the school,” Harper said. “I wanted to attend a smaller school, that way I could still stay focused on my studies and not have too many distractions.”

Servite head coach Tom O’Leary is impressed by his Harper’s maturity and thinks that it will serve him well at the next level.
“Donovan is a prolific offensive threat for out program,” O’Leary said via email. “I have had the great opportunity to witness this young man mature into a leader by committing his mind, body and soul to improving himself and those around him. I would like to not only congratulate Donovan, but Concordia University Wisconsin for gaining this young man for the next four years.”
Harper is optimistic about his final season with Servite, and thinks the Friars will rebound from last season’s 7-13 record. He pointed to the program’s success as winners of the OC Fall Brawl championship as a sign of things to come in the 2017 high school season.
Concordia-Wisconsin is coming off a solid 12-5 campaign in which the Falcons reached the Midwest Lacrosse Conference championship game. The Falcons lost the championship game to Aurora 13-11.
