Orange County’s footprint in the national lacrosse continues to grow as OC-based DH Elite travels to the U15 US Lacrosse National Championships at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Center in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Chuck Dotson and Coach Kyle Harrison, cofounders of DH Lacrosse, have assembled a team stocked with with some of Orange County’s top talent. Dotson says the team is unique as a ‘town team’ versus most of the top clubs they will face who select players from all over the US. Still he expects to be competitive as most of the players have grown up together and share a special team chemistry. Players include Anthony DeMaio, Scott Barger, Austin Shackleford, Logan Olmsted, Yuta Murata, Jake Shleppy, Nick Georgagi, Kennedy Solomon, Gunner Garn (committed to Michigan), and Nate Reutiman from JSerra Jack Renard from San Clemente HS, Teddy Finley from Mission Viejo HS, and John Connelly from Newport Harbor.
Games will begin July 27 and the new U15 national champion will be crowned on Sunday July 29.
