Devin Arkison of Lockdown D spent the weekend checking out the action at High Rollers. He reports that after two days of watching and speaking to college coaches, these are the players who stood out to him:

  • 2021 FOGO Lake Baker: dominated his draws. Seemed to put the ball anywhere he wanted. Won most clean, very good all weekend.
  • 2019 Defense Jake Torres: Plays with lots of energy and under control. Covered a couple of the best at the event and more than held his own. Big kid moves well, was excellent in the clearing game, one to watch! ( Great Oak High)
  • 2019 attack Ryan Rogers: very good all weekend. Got topside plenty and can shoot it or feed. Strong IQ, poised out there. Was very good both days. Confident kid.
  • 2020 Attack Kai Kelly: Had big weekend. Turned some heads. 11 goals in 4 games and he didn’t t carry the ball much. Gets open inside and sticks his shots. High lacrosse IQ. Crafty kid, poised out there. ( Pacific Ridge High)
  • 2019 Goalie Eugene Kang: Made some big, big saves. He was very good in the cage. Quick hands, was really seeing the ball well both days. ( San Clemente High)
  • 2019 Middie Luke Makolajeuski: Stood out. Excellent dodger, got plenty of shots and stuck plenty in the back of the net. Played hard all weekend, big motor.
  • 2020 Attack/Middie Miles Botkiss: had it going for sure. Smart player who did a few things very well. Had a couple skip pass feeds that were next level, fun to watch. Poised out on the field for sure…..(Torrey Pines High)
