Tesoro’s DeVault Commits to Arizona State

TesoroTesoro High School senior attackman Sage DeVault has committed to play collegiate lacrosse at Arizona State University. ASU plays in the MCLA Division I club lacrosse level.In addition to being a four-year varsity letterman and second team All-South Coast League selection, DeVault has had the privilege of playing club lacrosse with Team Relentless, OC Kings, Brady’s Bunch and Rip City. During that span he has also been able to experience several top national lacrosse events and play with some of the best high school lacrosse players in the United States. The cagey feeder led Tesoro in assists in 2013 and averaged 3.5 points per game.

After meeting with ASU’s Coach Chris Malone and discovering all the great opportunities available, DeVault knew it was the perfect fit. In addition to playing lacrosse, DeVault has been accepted into the ASU Barrett Honors College and Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Both programs are among the top in the United States.
















DeVault credited all of his coaches over the years who have had such a strong impact in his life on and off the field especially Dan Olmstead, Max Ritz, Maxx Davis, Kyle Harrison, Brian Eisenberg, Adam Miner, Nick Tintle, and Mike Ansel. ASU enters the 2014 season as the preseason #1 ranked team in MCLA Division I according to Lacrosse Magazine.
