Nine players from Culver City’s Youth Lacrosse program traveled to Indiana earlier this month to participate in a four-day lacrosse camp at the University of Notre Dame.
Players entering sixth and seventh grades made the trek from Culver City through Chicago to attend one of the nation’s top summer lacrosse camps. Players had an opportunity to visit the prestigious university and learn about what it takes both academically and athletically to participate in collegiate sports.
Players also had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to tour both the lacrosse and football facilities. This included a behind-the-scenes tour made possible with the assistance of Culver City High School’s Tom Salter, Bob Elliott of Notre Dame Football, and Jonathan Rodak of Notre Dame Lacrosse.
