Former Corona del Mar High School standout defenseman Hugh Crance (Notre Dame) was one of 50 players invited to training camp with the 2016 U.S. Men’s National Under-19 Team.
After a three-day tryout that hosted 105 players at Stevenson University in Owings Mills, Md., US Lacrosse announced the 50 players who will be invited to training camp with the 2016 U.S. Men’s National Under-19 Team.
Crance will join the 50 finalists for a second training camp Aug. 7-9 at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Md. The weekend will culminate with a Team USA Blue-White exhibition game at Homewood Field, Sunday, Aug. 9 at 1 p.m. Admission is free for US Lacrosse members and $5 for non-members.
Ultimately, 23 players will be named to the final roster for the Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) Under-19 World Championship, July 7-16, 2016, in Coquitlam, British Columbia.
