Coaching Opportunities At Santa Margarita

The Santa Margarita Catholic boys’ lacrosse program is currently seeking committed coaches who will be critical to continuing our mission to grow our athletes to be leaders in the community as well as leaders on the field. We are looking to expand our program and have more players interested than ever before.

We will select individuals whose coaching philosophy and style are aligned with our focus on personal growth for our student-athletes. Ideal candidates possess lacrosse coaching experience, preferably having previously coached at the high school level and/or played at the college level and are motivated to support our continued growth.

Current open positions include JV and varsity assistants.

Santa Margarita is a top-tier program in Orange County, and we are looking to take it to the next level. The coaches involved in our program gain access to numerous additional opportunities for income and are well respected in our community and supported by an established fundraising structure as well as highly engaged parents.

Coaches are expected to be actively involved in the program starting mid November and running through the first weeks of May. In the past, nightly two-hour spring practices have been held between 5:00-9:00 pm with the flexibility to fit practices into your schedule.

Coaches in the SMCHS Lacrosse program are well compensated for their time and commitment to the program.  Salary: Competitive plus club coaching opportunities.  Appointment: Part-Time, 5 months.
