Sharp and Charbonnier connected twice in the first period to stake the Sea Kings (7-0) to a 2-0 lead. They connected again in the fourth quarter to extend PV’s lead to 4-2. After LCC (4-1) pulled within 4-3, Sharp picked up his fourth assist of the game, feeding to restore PV’s two-goal advantage with 7:58 to play in the contest.

Last year, Palos Verdes travelled to to face the Mavericks and were beaten 9-5.

Tuesday was the first of three big games this week for the Sea Kings, who take on No. 6 Agoura at home today and No. 5 Chaminade at home on Friday. Monday, Palos Verdes plays host to the IMG Academy National squad, based out of Florida.
