Chaminade is seeking applicants for its coaching staff for the 2018 season. Positions are available for varsity offensive coordinator and varsity specialty/assistant, as well as JV head coach and assistant positions and middle school positions.

Chaminade College Prep High School is a premier academic institution in Los Angeles, which has excelled in athletics for decades, capturing multiple league and state titles in many sports, and producing dozens of Division I and professional athletes in the NFL, MLB and NBA. The school has fielded a lacrosse team since 2005, and the program is in a position to follow the success of the school’s others top-tier programs.

The Chaminade Prep lacrosse program has been on a steady rise for the past six seasons. In 2012, the program was winless and last in the Mission League. Since 2015, though, the Eagles have been a playoff team, and in 2017 they finished as a Top 10 program in Los Angeles against the 13th toughest schedule in the Southern CIF.

Moreover, the 2017 Chaminade program had zero seniors and will return its entire varsity roster for 2018, along with the addition of a strong freshman class and several transfers. The program is poised for another strong season in 2018 and will be playing its most competitive schedule to date. The Chaminade program has built a culture of great respect on and off the field, and our community of families and administrators are bought in and incredibly supportive.

Applicants must have collegiate playing experience. All applicants must have reliable transportation and availability to attend all spring practices and games. Coaching candidates must show high levels of professionalism, communication, community relationship and a high knowledge of the game of lacrosse. Interested applicants must submit a resume and cover letter, as well as three references. These are coaching only positions, but additional opportunities are available for those interested.
