After four years, one US Lacrosse Southern Divsion championship, 64 wins and only 11 losses, the Corona del Mar High School Class of 2013 said farewell at the team post season banquet. Seniors Rocky Feinberg, Beau Goulding, Jack Harris, Todd Kitzens, Chase McElroy, Jimmy McKray, Casey Mix, Brett Nelson, Jack Ortlieb, Ryon Sabouni, Jordan Salisbury, Chris Von Der Ahe, Colby Watson and Jake Wyatt move on from their high school lacrosse careers with a 0.872 winning percentage over four years. The Gratzinger Award and Scholarship, voted on by the players, is given to the player with the most love, dedication, and respect for the game. It is an award given to the player who best embodies these traits along with the spark, spirit and character to continue the development of CDM lacrosse. The award is given regardless of the player’s lacrosse ability. This year’s winner…senior Casey Mix.
