Capo Takes Down Laguna Hills

Capo.jpgBuilding on the momentum from their thrilling overtime win earlier in the week,  the Capistrano Valley High School Cougars continued their late season surge by beating Laguna Hills High School 11-4 on Thursday. The Cougars have now won six of their last eight games.

Brad McCarville got Capo Valley started with an early goal.  Cameron Lopez, Carter Bache and Sam Slobom quickly followed with goals of their own to give Capo a 4-0 lead heading into the second quarter.  Early faceoff domination by Trevor Kist (6 gbs, 15/16 faceoffs) that continued throughout the game allowed the Capos to control possession and the pace of the game.
