California High School (Whittier) Seeks Head Coach for Girls Lacrosse

California High School is seeking a qualified head lacrosse coach for their second year girls lacrosse team.  The team plays a combination of JV and Varsity games against local teams. Last year’s team had 24 players (9-11 grades) and approximately 22 of them will return this season.

The position begins as soon as it is filled, pending coaching clearance, and is a two to three day per week commitment from November through early May.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Lacrosse Playing Experience Necessary
  • High lacrosse IQ with extensive knowledge of the game.
  • Previous coaching experience desired but not required.

Compensation is in the range of $2800 to $3000 for the season.

There is currently no off-season program in place but there are scheduled skills clinics in November, December, January and February.
