Orange County, CA (February 27, 2019) – Buku Lacrosse Club has announced with great excitement that the program will rebrand as Pride Lacrosse. Moving forward all future teams, clinics, and training sessions that were held by Buku Lacrosse will now be under the new Pride Lacrosse brand.
“Buku LC has always took pride in teaching our players the important life lessons that come with playing lacrosse. After 6 successful years of continual growth of our program, we know we have the coaching staff to continue to do that. We want to up our game and know we have the capability to take local lacrosse to the next level. Instilling the love for the game and the lacrosse IQ players need to excel at the highest levels is our new focus” said founder Johnny Rodriguez.
Luke Phipps will serve as the full time club director focusing on player advancement. Christie Cole will remain on board as the Pride LC’s administrator.
“Pride LC teams are focused on the experienced athletes from every age group that want to play in a high tempo and organized environment that the national programs offer but at the price of a local club team. Southern California Lacrosse is stronger than ever, and we are confident we have the passionate and dedicated coaches that every player deserves to allow them to reach their potential” said director Luke Phipps.
Pride LC will have two clubs this summer based out of Orange County and Riverside county.
