BUKU Lacrosse Announces Summer Lax for Boys and Girls

Buku Lacrosse Club is back in action this summer offering boys and now girls teams at the U11, U13, U15, and HS levels as well as a U11 team for boys. Teams will go through a 2-3 week training camp regime before starting team practices to prepare for local tournaments. The training camp will be held at Velocity Sports Performance Center and ProTech Sports in Irvine. Players will work on specific lacrosse movements focusing on speed, agility, and quickness for an hour with a certified performance trainer. Following the hour training session players will be turned over to their coach for positional skills work inside of the 20,000 sq. foot state-of-the-art turf training facility.

“Velocity is a mecca for lacrosse players. Everything a player needs to excel his game, all under one roof.” said founder and club director Johnny Rodriguez. Rodriguez has been training at the facility since January as he prepares for the upcoming Denver Outlaws season.
