Brendan Finnerty Named Head Coach at San Clemente

San Clemente High School announced that Brendan Finnerty has been named the new men’s lacrosse head coach at San Clemente High School. Finnerty comes to San Clemente after three years as head coach at Beckman High School in Irvine where they were Pacific League Champions from 2014-2016. Prior to that he was head coach at Trabuco Hills High School for three years.

“San Clemente has a rich men’s lacrosse tradition and I couldn’t be more excited to be named head coach,” said Finnerty. “The community and the high school provide outstanding support for their student-athletes and they have a solid lacrosse foundation that I look forward to building upon. San Clemente has a history of great success in their men’s lacrosse program and I can’t wait to get started.”

Finnerty graduated from Fairfield University in 2008 where he was a four-year letterman in lacrosse and was team captain. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.
