This weekend, Brady’s Bunch will participate in the fifth annual U15 National Championships held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. Thirty two of the nation’s top club teams will compete for the highest honor in the country for young high school and middle school players.

Brady’s Bunch captured a bid to the National Championships after going undefeated in the qualifying tournament in San Jose earlier this summer. The BUNCH will have plenty of Southern California fire power this weekend including players from Orange County. Although on the younger side, San Clemente 8th graders Nicholas Lemus and Nicholas DeMaio promise strong contributions to an offense made up of some of the best players in the West. Between the pipes, Brady’s Bunch will feature an all OC combo of San Clemente’s Austin Boyer who had a great showing at the Jake Reed Camp this summer and rising sophomore goaltender Payton Fales, (St. Margaret’s Episcopal School) who led the BUNCH to the Legacy Championship in Boston just two weeks ago.

JSerra Catholic High School assistant coach Tom DeMaio, will be the Head Coach in Florida. DeMaio won the Regional Event in Texas in 2012 with the San Diego All Stars, and is looking forward to taking this team to the main event. “Between the gear and the venue, the kids have not stopped talking about the Championship. It should be good to test themselves in the heat and have some fun at Disney World.”

In typical Southern California fashion, the boys will be sporting the best of Brady swag on the big stage – each player will be outfitted in new Brady’s Bunch Custom Shooting shirts and brand new Brady’s Bunch Cascade “R” helmets. Cascade boasts that the new R “conveys speed, power and performance” which is exactly what Bunch and the OC boys intend to do on the turf in Orlando
