What you should know:

The Sailors have never missed the playoffs under head coach Mark Todd.

The Sailors have won 22 consecutive league games dating back to 2014. The Sailors’ last league loss came on April 4, 2014, when Los Alamitos beat Newport Harbor 19-9 at Los Alamitos High School.

The Sailors hope to improve upon last season’s disappointing first-round loss to Trabuco Hills.

The Sailors will be playing a majority of their home games at Estancia High School, but according to an article from the Los Angeles Times, the Sailors’ home field is slated to be finished on April 17, the first day after spring break.
