Blake Lenk, a 2015 graduate of Newport Harbor, has committed to play Division 1 lacrosse at Wagner beginning in the 2016/20107 academic year. He will be the first Newport Harbor alum to play Division 1 lacrosse. Mark Todd, Lenk’s coach at Newport Harbor is not surprised: “Blake Lenk is an excellent lacrosse player, teammate, and student who is dedicated to his craft. Wagner will get an immediate lift with Blake Lenk’s strength, speed, and stickwork for certain; but it’s also the intrinsic assets he brings with him. He’s a winner, a combatant, a leader, and good soul.”

Lenk was the 2015 Sunset League Defensive Player of the Year and a Second Team All County selection. He will join current Wagner freshmen Nico Houser (Santa Margarita) and Ty Miller (Los Alamitos) on Staten Island.
