Michael Bellas, Matt Keany

Two attackmen from Orange County will make Cal-Berkeley’s already lethal offense will make the Bears even more difficult to defend in 2018.   (Northwood, ’17) and (San Clemente ’17) will join ten other freshman as newcomers on the University California Berkeley men’s lacrosse team.

The incoming Bears have a strong west coast influence, with Californians in particular, dominating the group. The incoming class includes 10 players from California, 1 from Oregon, and 1 from New Jersey.

Bellas and Keany are both four-time lettermen and two-time captains.  Both players also earned Second Team All-Chapter honors this season as well as US Lacrosse All-Academic status.  The full press release from MCLA.US is presented below.
