The Southern California Women’s Officials have announced dates to train new officials for the upcoming season. New officials are needed to address an existing shortage and they earn between $40 and $68 per game depending on the level.

New officials are required to attend the two classroom training sessions and two field training sessions listed below.

Classroom Training Sessions at Brandman University, Rm. 119

  • Tuesday, Sept. 25th from 6-9pm
  • Thursday, 27th from 6-9pm

Field Training Sessions at Rancho Santa Margarita Intermediate School

  • Sept 30th from 7 -10 am
  • October 7th from 9 am – 12 pm

The cost of this training is $60 for adults and $30 for youth. You will receive a yellow flag, penalty cards, and a whistle upon completion.

This is an extensive training that is scheduled around the Orange County Fall Ball season. The Sunday field sessions will have games starting at 9 am and running until 4 pm. You are encouraged to attend as much of the day as you can. The longer you stay the more game experience you can get, but the times listed are the minimum.
