Jacksonville University has landed commitments from the Great Oaks dual-threat duo of senior Jacoby Yordy and junior Justin Barragan have verbally committed to play Division 1 lacrosse at Jacksonville University. The two LSMs wreak havoc for opponents on both ends of the field. Last season Yordy had 103 GB’s, 27 forced turnovers, 9 goals, and 7 assists, and Barragan had 64 GB’s, 13 FTO’s, 8 goals, and 5 assists.
Head coach Karl Rohlin sees a bright future for the pair at the D1 level: “They are both my double wing LSM’s and both are serious offensive threats as well as defensive standouts. I look forward to watching them tear it up at the DI level next years and the year after.”
Yordy and Barragan will follow in the footsteps of Great Oaks alum Dakota Rohlin who is a senior at JU.
