With Milo Sherman providing plenty of possession with 17 face-off wins, the Dolphins (6-3) took a commanding 13-4 lead at halftime.
The attack line of Aidan Caso (5 goals, 1 assist), Alessandro Caso (1g) and Macchio Rissone (3g, 4a) combined for 14 points. O’Rourke (4g, 2a), James Burkes (1g, 1a), Cole Ferrell (1g) and Liam Mathers (1a) also provided offense.
Last year, El Segundo (3-6) rallied to beat Palisades thanks to a three-minute, unreleasable penalty late in the game. This season, the Dolphins put it away early and now heads to spring break. When they return to the field on April 6, though, they’ll face No. 4 Westlake.
