Attack Line Powers Past El Segundo

scored five goals and Jack O’Rourke scored four Friday, leading host No. 13 to a dominant 15-5 win over El Segundo, the Dolphins fourth win in a row.

With providing plenty of possession with 17 face-off wins, the Dolphins (6-3) took a commanding 13-4 lead at halftime.

The attack line of (5 goals, 1 assist), (1g) and (3g, 4a) combined for 14 points. O’Rourke (4g, 2a), James Burkes (1g, 1a), Cole Ferrell (1g) and Liam Mathers (1a) also provided offense.

Last year, El Segundo (3-6) rallied to beat Palisades thanks to a three-minute, unreleasable penalty late in the game. This season, the Dolphins put it away early and now heads to spring break. When they return to the field on April 6, though, they’ll face No. 4 Westlake.
