Amy Slade, How Be A Game Changer

Host Fred Opie interviews Garden City native, UVA standout, and University of Baltimore County (UMBC) Lacrosse Coach Amy Slade. They talk about her experience growing up in Garden City New York, a perennial powerhouse in New York state lacrosse. Slade played varsity all four years in high school and explains how the neighborhood that she grew up in had produced a plethora of outstanding athletes who went on to play lacrosse at some of the top programs in the country. She explains her decision to attend the University of Virginia where she met her friend George Mason University head lacrosse Jessy Morgan (see the link to the interview done with her below.
