Add the Capistrano Valley High School Cougars to the long list of teams that cannot find an answer for Aliso Niguel’s Jonah Rinaldi. Rinaldi’s points (7 goals, 2 assists) provided more than enough cushion for the Wolverines as they continued their domination of the Sea View League with a 17-5 win over Capo. The Wolverines led 9-2 at the half and 15-3 after three quarters before slowing it down in the fourth and walking away with the win. James Murphy finished the game with 4 points (3 goals, 1 assist) for the Wolverines. Also scoring for the Wolverines were Stevie Barron, who celebrated his signing with Notre Dame de Namur with 2 goals, Connor Reed (1 goal), Jeremy Traub (1 goal), Morgan Seymour (1 assist), Hayden Wollman (2 goals), and Jake Lombardo (1 goal). Austin Stahl turned away 5 Capo shots.
Blake Berk led Capo with 2 goals and 1 assist. Cameron Lopez, Parker Webb, and Sam Slobom rounded out the Capo scoring with a goal apiece. Jordan Wanger had 8 saves in a busy night between the pipes.
