San Clemente suffered a tough late-season home loss Saturday as it lost to Agoura, 13-12 in overtime. The Tritons had rallied from a 9-4 halftime deficit to tie the game at 12-12 with just 37 seconds triton_lacrosse_logo (1)remaining on a goal by senior Jordan Riggs, but Agoura scored early in overtime for the win. The game was held at the Vista Hermosa Sports Park due to a track meet being held at San Clemente High School. Agoura’s Tyler Ring was the hero in overtime, racing from a dead ball on the sideline to behind the Tritons goal, then set up a perfect inside roll dodge to beat Tritons goalie Thomas Ahola on the nearside for the game winner. The team raced out to pile on Ring and celebrate the upset.

San Clemente falls to 10-5 on the season, while Agoura improves to 11-3.
