Adam Guy Named JSerra Boys’ Lacrosse Coach

 SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA – JSerra Catholic High School Athletic Director Chris Ledyard today announced the appointment of as Boys Lacrosse Head Coach.  Guy joins the Lions after serving in the same role at Santa Margarita High School the last five years.

“We are thrilled to name Adam Guy as our Boys Lacrosse Coach,” said Ledyard. “He has tremendous experience as a standout player and coach, and we anticipate Adam taking the program to new heights. Adam is considered one of the top Lacrosse coaches in Southern California, and we are extremely fortunate to have him”

Coach Guy is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University, where he was a four-time all-conference selection and team captain.  A local product, Guy graduated from El Toro High School in 2003 where he was a four-time OCLA Defenseman of the Year, two-time OCLA Player of the Year and a USILA All- American.

“I am proud and humbled to be selected as JSerra’s Lacrosse Coach,” said Guy.  “It is a fantastic academic institution with tremendous facilities.  I look forward to growing and developing the program.”

While at Santa Margarita, Coach Guy led the Eagles to a 64-29 record in five seasons as well as three straight Trinity League Titles (’16-18), two semifinal appearances and three quarter-final appearances.  Prior to his time with the Eagles, Guy was head coach at El Toro from 2010-11 where he led the Chargers to a combined record of 24-12, two playoff berths and a spot in the semi-finals in 2010.

Adam currently lives in Aliso Viejo with his wife and 2 daughters.
