2019 SoCal Summer Kickoff Wrapup

The summer tournament season got off to a strong start with SoCal Summer Kickoff at the Orange County Great Park this weekend. Over 50 boys and girls lacrosse team competed for championships in age groups ranging from U-11 through High School Elite.

High School Boys Elite Champion: OC Crush

The OC Crush topped an undefeated weekend with a 6-3 victory over Club Pacific on Sunday to take home the High School Boys Elite Championship.

High School Boys Open Champion: SoCal Express 2022


Solid play on both ends of the field led the SoCal Express 2022 to the High School Boys Open Championship. The defense held the opposition to an average of four goals per game while the offense never dipped below double digits. The LA All Stars fell 12-6 to the SCX in the championship game.

High School Boys JV A Champion: West Side Bears

The West Side Bears made the most of their rematch with South Coast Storm by taking the Championship game by a score of 8-5. The Bears came into the championship tilt with a 3-1 record after falling to the Storm on Saturday morning.

High School Boys JV A Champion: LA All Stars 2022

Boys U15 Champion:Blackhorse

Blackhorse came out on top of the most equally balanced division of the weekend. Blackhorse, South Coast Storm, and the LA All Stars all finished pool play with 3-1 records.  Blackhorse and the Storm reached the championship game where Blackhorse won the crown with an 8-3 victory.

Boys U13 Champion: SoCal Express 2025


Sundays’ U-13 championship game checked all the boxes for an instant classic.  The Surf Dawgs entered the championship game with a paltry 1.5 goals allowed per game average hoping to shut down the high scoring and equally undefeated SoCal Express.  However, SCX walked away with an 11-4 victory and the ‘ship.

Boys U11Champion: Silverfin 2026

Silverfin went into lockdown mode in Sunday’s championship game and defeated SoCal Express, the division’s top scoring team, 6-4.  SCX entered the game averaging 10 goals per game but the Silverfin D prevailed.

Girls Open B Champion: NC Storm 2023

Despite the sunny skies, it was a bit stormy during the Girls Open B Championship game.  NC Storm 2023 defeated NC Storm 2024 10-8 to win the crown and the bragging rights.

Girls U12 Champion: SoCal Express 2026

The SoCal Express defense saved the best for last and defeated the LA Wave 6-4 in the championship game.
