2012 was the most competitive and most exciting high school lacrosse season the OC has seen. As many as 8 or 10 teams had championship caliber talent but CdM proved without question they were the best team of 2012. The Sea Kings finished the season as the undefeated County and Section Champions. 2013 looks to be even more exciting as the quality of lacrosse played in Orange County gets better each year. Division 1 commitments from the OC used to be as rare as Super Bowl trophies in the Chargers front office. Not anymore. The OC exploded on the national lacrosse this season as dozens of local players made NCAA commitments, an unprecedented number for OC lacrosse. JSerra alone has five Division 1 commitments on its roster, and only one is a senior. Many other teams have multiple D1 players. So who’s going to be the top team this year? Will CdM repeat? Will it be JSerra with its young yet talented roster and hall of fame coach? Will it be someone else? MaxLaxOC.Com begins it pre-season Preview and Top 20 Countdown February 11.
